ABOUT THE ROLE
Confluence Media Co. is seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Manager & Operations Coordinator to support agency operations, retreat execution, and internal workflow management across key company initiatives.
This role will work closely with founder Imani Cook to manage timelines, communications, logistics, and project execution for:
- House of Sokoni Noir
- The Creator’s Reset Retreat
- Algorithm Noir experiences
- Client marketing projects
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced creative environments, enjoys bringing structure to ideas, and can manage multiple moving pieces without losing attention to detail.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage project timelines and workflows in ClickUp
- Coordinate retreat logistics, vendor communication, and scheduling
- Track deliverables and deadlines across agency projects
- Support client onboarding and project organization
- Manage meeting notes, follow-ups, and operational systems
- Assist with production coordination for events and activations
- Communicate with contractors, creatives, and collaborators
- Help streamline backend operations as the company scales
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Notion, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Interest in marketing, media, events, or creative operations
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability
- Comfortable in startup-style environments

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a creative, organized, and culturally aware Social Media Intern to support content creation, digital engagement, and social media execution across Confluence Media Co. platforms.
This role is ideal for someone interested in marketing, content strategy, branding, and digital storytelling who wants real-world experience inside a fast-paced creative ecosystem.
The Social Media Intern will work closely with founder Imani Cook and assist with content planning, engagement, campaign support, and social media coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Support
Assist with planning and scheduling social media content
Support content creation for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Draft captions, hooks, and short-form copy under brand direction
Assist with organizing content calendars and campaign timelines
Help source trends, sounds, and social media inspiration
Community Engagement
Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement as assigned
Support audience interaction and community management
Track engagement insights and content performance
Brand & Campaign Support
Assist with promotional content for retreats, events, and agency campaigns
Support behind-the-scenes content capture during activations and productions
Help organize brand assets, Canva folders, and content libraries
Administrative Support
Assist with social media scheduling tools
Maintain organized workflows in ClickUp or shared systems
Participate in weekly creative and planning meetings
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Interest in social media, marketing, branding, or digital media
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, and content trends
- Strong communication and organizational skills
